Lindsey Headquarters is a 75,000-square-foot office and retail building designed to bring Lindsey Company's corporate entities and supporting businesses together at 1200 East Joyce Boulevard. Classical forms, contemporary glazing, and a prominent six-story profile give the building a recognizable presence in north Fayetteville—and today it is also home to the Fugitt + Wheeler studio.

One headquarters for a connected group of businesses.
Lindsey Company needed a flexible, functional facility that could bring its corporate entities and related retail uses together under one roof. The building serves Lindsey Management, Lindsey Real Estate, Lindsey Communications, Realty Title Company, the Lindsey School of Real Estate, and Fugitt + Wheeler, Architects.
Design response
Established principles paired with contemporary expression.
The exterior combines classical architectural forms and detailing with contemporary office glazing. A strong horizontal base anchors the composition, while curtain-wall glass, brick masonry, and large limestone accents express a balance between proven principles and new ideas central to Jim Lindsey's business philosophy.
Site response
Turning a constrained site into a prominent address.
The irregular parcel sits inside the curve of Joyce Boulevard on land that was once a low-lying agricultural tract, with a large pond in the proposed building footprint. The design responded to those existing conditions while maximizing the buildable area allowed by zoning and working within a disciplined budget.
Arrival + experience
An open sequence from the lobby to expansive regional views.
The entry lobby provides security for the ground floor while interior glazing keeps the arrival experience open and welcoming. Glass elevators extend that sense of openness through the building and frame six-story views across western Fayetteville and Washington County. On the sixth floor, the elevators arrive directly at executive reception on axis with the boardroom entrance, while large east-facing balconies support employee use and special events.
Enduring presence
A north Fayetteville landmark—and our studio's home.
As the tallest building in the northern portion of Fayetteville when completed, Lindsey Headquarters established a distinctive presence along the Joyce Boulevard corridor. Its flexible mixed-business program remains active today, including the offices of Fugitt + Wheeler, Architects.
